Commercial Ladders Direct is delighted to offer the DSC Exit, the only roof exit ladder in its range which incorporates the tradition of German development and design. The unit includes the heavy duty aluminium alloy concertina loft ladder the DSC, complete with loft access hatch, lining frame and steel covered roof hatch. Fully draught and weatherproof, the DSC Exit is an excellent choice for any roof garden, plant room or as a means of escape; ensuring maximum comfort with classic durability and modern design.
- Waterproof upper cover clad with galvanized steel sheet.
- The upper cover comes Insulated and complete with an espagnolette bolt for locking and is fitted with a rubber lip seal for secure closing.
- Insulation of upper cover (U-Value Uo = 1.10 W/m²k).
- The Concertina loft ladder is manufactured from die-cast aluminium and stores completely within the hatch box.
- Comes with a Telescopic Handrail fitted to the right hand side as standard.
- Ladder tread width: 200mm, 250mm, 300mm or 350mm (dependent on opening width dimension).
- Ladder tread depth: 140mm.
- Larger tread widths available up to 580mm (dependent on opening width dimension).
- The draught proofed timber hatchbox supplied is constructed from 19mm plywood (unfinished) and measures 620mm deep.
- The trapdoor supplied is Insulated (52mm sandwich construction) and it is fitted with a sprung loaded catch (ring pull operated) for lowering and closing the door.
- Insulation of trapdoor (U-Value Uo = 0.80 W/m²k).
- Unit complete with Operating Pole & Full Installation Instructions.
- A 2nd Telescopic Handrail is available for the unit (price below).
- Tested to EN 14975 (European Ladder Standard) with a 200kg per tread resilience.
- 30 minute and 90 minute fire rated options available

Opening Sizes start from 905mm (length) x 550mm (width)
and range up to 1600mm (length) x 940mm (width).
The maximum floor to ceiling height reachable with the DSC Exit is 4300mm.
N.B. Larger ceiling heights will require a more generous opening size.
